That's why Special Fruit operates a fully equipped 1200 m2 subsidiary in Huelva, Spain: right in the heart of Southern Europe's prime red fruit production zone.

Facts and figures Special Fruit Spain

• 2004: Commercial office opened in Huelva. Construction of a local network with  berry and currant  growers commences.
• 2005: Warehouse for storage and repack of strawberries, berries and exotics opened.
• Today: 1200 m2 of reception, storage, dispatch and shipping areas operational
• 8 full-time employees, supplemented seasonally as required
• Direct pan-European export via own logistic network
• Product availability 10 months per year
